The writer died a heretic. We may not know the final state of Horatio Stafford’s soul, but we can know the effect of his words. God sometimes ordains praise from unconverted lips, like Balaam or Nebuchadnezzar.
May God use the prayers of America today as tools in His hands to bring Him glory.

Change is always hard. Our congregation has changed with the recent passing of two we loved, Christine Roberts and Ruth Prevette. Soon we will see the Oliver Family leaving to be used of the Lord in another ministry. We will have a dinner on the 15th following the morning worship to thank them for all they mean to us. Bring appreciation cards and join us to say Farewell.

They didn’t have to go, they can refuse to go overseas and end up with either a “general” discharge,“ an “other than honorable discharge,” or worst case scenario a “dishonorable discharge” after a few days in the brig. But they go!

The other two, Mark & Luke, gathered information from eyewitnesses. Did they lie? No. People lie to gain something. All these men gained was torture, prison and death. Not great reasons to lie!
